Orchestra

Mr. Steve Glick, Director

Orchestra

Orchestra is a performance based class which lasts the entire year. The course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop basic fundamental technical skills on the bowed string instruments in an ensemble setting. Students are taught proper playing positions, basic musical terms and symbols, note reading and proper care and maintenance of the instrument.

Students must have the ability to provide an instrument and the proper accessories through purchase or rental sources. Some outside time (after school and/or weekends) is required.
