Astronomy ClubThe Astronomy club meets once a month at the Auburndale Municipal Beach at 8pm. Both students and parents are invited to come out for a splendid evening of star gazing and planet observing while sipping hot chocolate and enjoying the company of fellow friends. Book Club members enjoy literature discussion on a variety of selections. There are many benefits to being involved in the book club including, reinforcing  comprehension, literary analysis, writing, and evaluation activities.

CIA

Students involved in CIA meet for Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and worship. CIA meets the first Friday of every month after school until 5:00 p.m. in the Media Center.

This group of students participates in academic competitions against other schools to answer questions in geography history, language arts, math, and science.

Future Business Leaders of America

FBLA is an organization that prepares students for careers in business & computer technology. Through FBLA, members gain the competitive edge for a variety of activities that help them build their skills in the area of business & computer technology. Members learn how to lead and take part in-group discussions by engaging in practical problem solving and decision-making activities. There are currently over 250,000 members nationwide.

Hound Patrol is the first line of defense in a safe school. This organization is comprised of students with integrity and serve as role models for other students. These students are tapped into the pulse of the school and help staff with information about what is occurring among the students.

Yearbook

The Yearbook staff is a group of students who take pictures at school and at community events, and then organize them into yearbook pages. They help to create the layout of the yearbook, create collages, and develop the overall theme. This staff of hard working and dedicated students are responsible for helping to make the memories at Stambaugh Middle last a lifetime.
